• Played our C and F major. 
• Played up to piece #33. 

Keep playing Air du Buffons (I will find you another trio!). Play up to piece 34.

This week we...

• Played our C major scale. Well done! See if you can have a go at D majaor or F major too if you have time. If you don't know any of the notes, try and find out. There's heaps of fingering charts on google. Or e-mail me! 
• Played Twinkle Twinkle, Oranges and Lemons, A Tisket a Tasket, Good DEED and Southwell. We began work on Hatikvah by playing the player 1 line as slowly. 

When you are practising this week, play those quavers in Hatikvah SUPER SLOW. Just practice playing the notes in order. Once your fingers are getting around it, you can speed it up! Also don't forget to play Air de Buffons. You can use my youtube videos when you're ready to practice with the other parts!

Today we:

• Played C Major. Here's a picture of it if you need as it's not in our books! 
  
• We played Roses from the South, CDs, Twinkle Twinkle, Oranges and Lemons, a Tisket a Tasket. 
• Oranges and Lemons: leave out the quavers and the slurs/ties if they are tricky! 
• A Tisket A Tasket: Remember the note by itself in the first bar? Its called an Anacrusis (Anna on a cruise ship) or an Upbeat. In this case, it is the and of 4. So count: 1, 2 3 and 4 AND. Come in on the capital and! Sing the lyrics to help you with the rhythm if you need. 

This week:

• Play the C major scale until you don't need to look at the notes! 
• You may go as far as piece 33. Make sure you have your right hand pinky off when playing Good Deed.
