Today we...

• Played an F major scale 2 octaves!!! Yay! Use your fingering chart if you need to double check the top notes. 
• Played Love Song. 

Play Love Song along with the youtube recording. We have 3 and a half weeks to perfect it!

Today we 

• Played Love Song
• Played The Bear Went Over The Mountain

Play Love Song heaps this week. Play the quavers slowly. Make sure to slur the quaver runs and watch the timing on the dotted crotchets.

• decided that we will play Love Song at the St Orans concert on the 10th of September. Its a Thursday.

• Warmed up with Good DEED. Remember to have a soft emboucher for this one! (Make the hole that the air is going through a little bigger/looser)
• Played Southwell, Hatikvah, The Mocking Bird Song, Turn The Glasses Over and Annie's Song!

Woah, we chewed through pieces this morning! If you are finding something a bit tricky to play at speed, slow it down and practice it over and over until you don't have to think about what your fingers are doing. In Annie's song, remember to breathe in appropriate places, and take deep breaths cause you have some long notes to hold onto!

Today we:

• Played through C Major and F major 
• Played A tisket, a tasket
• Learnt new notes D and E
• Played Good DEED, Southwell and The Mocking Bird Song 

This week:

• Practice your C Major and F Major scales. F is in your book, but here's an image of C. 
• Play all your pieces up to 33. Take out slurs if you need and play the quaver passages really slowly. Make sure to check the key signature before you play.
