Today we decided on our piece for the concert. We are playing Air Du Buffons. Please learn all the parts. You can use this video on my youtube channel to help you. The concert is at school on Thursday the 10th of September. On my channel is play along with me versions and versions to help you learn each part.

Today we:

• Played from the Old Shepherd ALL THE WAY to Folk Song! Well done... 
• We revised our new notes: Bb and F 

When you play this week, remember to practice super slowly. Really tell your fingers what to do, especially that right hand who has a job now! Play a few bars of Folk Song at a time and repeat them over and over until you've really got a handle on those bars. Have a wee look at the next page too if you need! We will probably get onto 16, 17 and 18 next week! Y'all are doing so well :)

• Played pieces 1-9 

This week:

• Play pieces 1-9. Watch how you balance your flute when you play C. Try breathe on the barlines so you don't get light headed. 'Too' at the beginning of notes. Play everything slowly and you can speed it up when your fingers know what to do. Remember to put the flute on your shoulder if you want to concentrate on fingering, and clap the rhythm before you play to practice the rhythm.
